National HIV Guidelines for Health Workers

In 2011, the Ministry of Health revised and updated Uganda’s guidelines for use by all health providers who take care of HIV infected patients either directly or indirectly. The integrated National Guidelines on Antiretroviral Therapy , Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV and Infant and Young Child Feeding, assists health care providers to provide quality and standardized HIV prevention, care and treatment services including nutritional care, treatment and support to PLHIVs.
