Many women receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART) do not wish to become pregnant but have no access to family planning services. Even among women receiving ART who are pregnant or wish to become pregnant, there is a need for postpartum family planning to ensure healthy timing and spacing of future pregnancies. Integrating family planning into ART services provides a convenient means for clients living with HIV to receive information about appropriate contraceptive methods and to access contraceptives if desired. These case studies and tools provide guidance on planning, implementing, and evaluating effective family planning and ART integration programs.
