Webinar Slides: The CIP Performance Dashboard, Jordan Hatcher
The Costed Implementation Plan (CIP) Resource Kit features guidance documents, tools, and best practices to assist program planners, ministry representatives, and technical assistance providers to go through the CIP process. Since the resource kit launched in 2015, we have gained even more insight into what tools can help countries accelerate progress toward family planning goals. The USAID-funded Health Policy Plus (HP+) and Knowledge for Health (K4Health) projects have recently published a new set of tools for the CIP Resource Kit, which are based on practical experiences and lessons learned from CIP development, execution, and monitoring.
This presentation introduces one of these new tools: The CIP Performance Dashboard, developed by HP+. The dashboard supports a country’s efforts to track program implementation and performance towards results articulated in their CIP. Data from CIP performance monitoring informs effective and efficient programming, future resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination, which ultimately facilitates a country’s ability to meet family planning program goals and commitments.
