K4Health Showcases mHealth Portfolio at the Global mHealth Forum
If you haven’t heard (but we hope you have!), the first-ever Global mHealth Forum will be held at this year’s mHealth Summit to focus on sharing the successes, challenges and lessons learned from implementing mHealth programs in low and middle income countries (LMICs). Two days—Dec 10th and 11th—will be dedicated to hearing from over 150 speakers representing 77 organizations and 25-plus countries as they tackle the most pressing questions related to designing, implementing, scaling and evaluating mHealth initiatives. The mHealth Working Group, Personal Connected Health Alliance, and USAID have partnered to organize this inaugural Forum.
K4Health is excited to be a key contributor to the Global mHealth Forum. As members of the mHealth Working Group Advisory Board, our project partners Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, FHI 360, IntraHealth International, and Management Sciences for Health, helped design the conference—selecting themes for tracks that resonate with K4Health users including design, interoperability, evidence, partnerships, finance, and scale.
There are many opportunities to hear the latest trends and discuss hot topics in this important field with 28 concurrent sessions, three plenaries, 35 roundtable presentations, product demonstrations, networking sessions and posters. View the full agenda to see all of the great offerings, including many presentations from our project partners.
We hope you’ll find time to attend a roundtable on the K4Health mHealth products and tools, scheduled from 1:15-2:15 on December 11. This is a great opportunity to tour and try out our tools and products—the new mHealth Knowledge, the mHealth Planning Guide, mHealth Evidence, and the mHealth Basics eLearning Course—first-hand. You can also tell us what other tools and products you need to make your mHealth programs successful. And on December 10, from 2:00-3:00 PM, be sure to stop by the poster presentation on developing a pan-African peer assistance network for eHealth, an initiative of K4Health in partnership with mHELP.
Hope to see you there!
