Plan International | Learning and Knowledge Management Advisor

Wycliffe Omanya has over 10 years of experience in knowledge management, communications for development, and behavior change communications. He is skilled in developing knowledge synthesis and presentations, documentations of lessons, and promising practices for scale-up or replication. He is competent in audience-based communication strategies and knowledge-driven corporate and organizational functions that target cohesion, efficacy, efficiency, and results. He holds a Master's degree in Communication Studies and is a Knowledge Associates Cambridge-accredited knowledge management consultant.

Wycliffe is currently the Learning and Knowledge Management Advisor for Plan International in Kenya, where he supports national human resources for health systems strengthening. Previously, he worked as a behavior change communication advisor for Health Poverty Action’s (UK) Africa Regional Office, a regional knowledge management and communication manager at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction, and was seconded to the Ministry of Planning, National Development, and Vision 2030 by the United Nations Development Programme.
