Rose Wilcher

FHI 360 | Director, Research Utilization

Rose Wilcher, MPH, is Director of the Research Utilization team at FHI 360, where she works to translate public health research findings into evidence-based policies and practices. For more than 10 years, Rose has been at the forefront of FHI 360’s efforts to accelerate the application and scale-up of underutilized and emerging evidence in family planning and HIV programs. She also serves as a K4Health Partner Liaison. She has experience implementing a range of knowledge translation strategies, including stakeholder engagement, advocacy, development of evidence-based programmatic resources, capacity building, and provision of technical assistance to global and national partners. Rose has particularly deep expertise in the area of family planning/HIV integration. In 2009 and 2013, she served as guest editor of widely disseminated supplements of the journal AIDS on family planning and HIV. Rose also has capacity in use of gender analysis and evidence-based gender integration strategies in health projects. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined FHI 360 in 2002.
