Rebecca Shore, MPH, is the Knowledge Management Officer for VectorWorks, a President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI)-funded project that aims to scale up vector control for malaria prevention through improved distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets (ITNs), optimal roll-out of promising alternative vector control tools, and global policies that are informed by the use of monitoring and evaluation data. In that role, she manages all the internal and external knowledge management and communications for the project. With over 10 years of experience working with public health programs, she has worked on a range of public health issues including malaria, HIV/AIDS prevention, family planning, and reproductive health. In 2012, she founded the Social Media for Global Health working group for global health and development professionals using social media. Rebecca is a contributor to the K4Health blog with a focus on social media, mHealth, gender, and development.
