Nomi Fuchs-Montgomery

Marie Stopes International | Director Global Partnerships & U.S. Country Director

Nomi Fuchs-Montgomery has served as the US Country Director for Marie Stopes International-US (MSI-US) since January 2010 and was recently promoted to MSI’s Director of Global Partnerships with oversight of team members in the US, Brussels, and London. Nomi founded the MSI-US Washington, DC office and is responsible for the overall direction, leadership, and vision of MSI’s strategic presence within the United Sates. Ms. Fuchs-Montgomery has 18 years of professional experience working in HIV/AIDS, family planning, and reproductive health with a focus on strategic partnerships, technical management, and resource allocation and mobilization. Ms. Fuchs-Montgomery previously served as the Senior Technical Advisor for Prevention and Gender in the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (PEPFAR) at the US Department of State, where she developed technical programming in areas such as male circumcision, gender, prevention and youth. Ms. Fuchs-Montgomery also served as the Senior Technical Advisor for Family Planning in the Office of Population and Reproductive Health at USAID, where she provided global technical leadership for the linkages between family planning and HIV/AIDS and managed a centrally funded service delivery project. Ms. Fuchs-Montgomery has extensive experience collaborating with international bilateral donors, private foundations, UN agencies, private companies, and leading NGOs. Her first professional assignment was as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nigeria.
