Save the Children | Senior Specialist for Sexual and Reproductive Health

Melanie Yahner provides technical assistance to Save the Children’s adolescent sexual and reproductive health and family planning programs, and currently focuses on programs for first-time and young parents. She has a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University, a Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and over 12 years of experience in technical assistance, program management, and monitoring and evaluation for sexual and reproductive health programs in sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Before joining Save the Children in 2015, she worked with EngenderHealth and the International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras.
