Kim Ethier Stover

USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) Project, University Research Co., LLC (URC) | Senior Improvement Advisor

Kim has over 15 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale improvement initiatives in low- and middle-income countries. She is currently working as a Senior Improvement Advisor on USAID ASSIST with a focus on capacity development for improvement and community-level improvement. From 2010 to 2013, Kim was the lead improvement advisor for the Bill & Melinda Gates-funded Maternal and Newborn Health in Ethiopia Partnership (MaNHEP), on which URC was a sub-grantee to Emory University. Previously, she served as the Deputy Chief of Party for URC offices in Russia and Uganda, in addition to providing short-term technical assistance to other low- and middle-income countries. She is fluent in Russian. Kim joined URC in 2000 and has worked on the USAID Quality Assurance Project II, USAID Quality Assurance Project III, and USAID Health Care Improvement Project.
