Annah Sango
African Young Positives Network | Advocacy Manager
Annah is a motivational speaker, life coach, and mentor from Zimbabwe who works as the Advocacy Manager for the African Young Positives Network (AY+). She is a member of many organizations, including PACT, Zimbabwe’s Youth Engage/ACT!2015 Alliance, ICW-Z, the Chapter for Young Women and Adolescent Girls (CYWAG), and ICW-Global. She is Co-founder and Team Leader of Community Based Humanitarian Chapter (CBHC), a local CBO that offers mentorship and life coaching skills for young women as they develop, brand, and build their knowledge and image to make a positive impact and be effective leaders in their communities. In her talks, Annah focuses on the importance of young people maintaining their health and well-being as well as the need for them to know about their sexual and reproductive health and rights and information on HIV/AIDS. She promotes Positive Health, Dignity, and Prevention for young people and adolescents while emphasizing the importance of young people in defining their role in society. Currently, she is working on the H6 Initiative in collaboration with ZNNP+ and the PITCH (Partnership to Inspire, Transform and Connect the HIV Response) project. Annah is studying Community Development and serves on the HIV Young Leaders Fund Board and the Y+ Advisory Board. Her honors include a Women Deliver Grant (2017), a Women Deliver Fellowship (2016), and the Global Power Women’s Network SRHR Award (2012).
