Ms. Akuba Dolphyne, a Ghanaian, is an Information Technology and International Health professional with experience in Health Information Systems, Health Workforce Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Reproductive Health as a technical writer, application implementer, analyst, project manager, and trainer of trainers, supporting USAID, PEPFAR and BMGF projects. She has extensive experience implementing information systems for tracking capacity building activities across in Africa, training staff of Ministries of Health, local and international NGOs, standardizing data entry and ensuring data quality.

With an MS in Information Technology and an MS in Public Health, Akuba has found her niche in the field of development of mobile apps for health. In her current position with Grameen Foundation as Project Manager of an mHealth project involving community health nurses in Ghana's Health Service, she is able to leverage both her areas of expertise in developing a mobile app to build the capacity of frontline health workers, with the goal of improving quality of maternal and child health care in rural Ghana.
