Tara Sullivan
JHU∙CCP | Deputy Director
Tara Sullivan is a highly regarded innovator and designer of knowledge management, information dissemination, and monitoring and evaluation systems. She has over 15 years’ experience in international health and development as a research and evaluation leader, manager, and technical advisor for family planning/reproductive health projects. She has spent four years of long-term field residence in Africa and Asia.
Dr. Sullivan spearheaded an initiative to develop an original logic model and indicators to guide health information program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Dr. Sullivan’s research focuses on facilitating the use of health information in policy and programs and on improving the quality of family planning and reproductive health services, including interpersonal communication skills. She has worked with local counterparts using participatory approaches to build institutional capacity in key health and technical areas.
