Stephen Goldstein
JHU∙CCP | Senior Consultant
Over the last 23 years, Stephen M. Goldstein has managed a series of reproductive health information activities and projects for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) designed to promote evidence-based family planning and related reproductive health practices for health service providers in developing countries. Steve helped to conceptualize, publish, and disseminate the on-line and print versions of Family Planning: A Global Handbook for Providers; helped conceptualize the online K4Health toolkits (designed to provide audiences with selected information about specific health topics); managed the production and dissemination of various print and online publications such as Population Reports and INFO Reports; and worked to promote K4Health and its predecessor INFO and PIP projects with the news media and at international development conferences. Steve is particularly interested in helping to empower women and girls to determine their futures and those of their families and communities by providing them with the knowledge they need to achieve their goals through family planning and related reproductive health information. Steve is semi-retired and lives in Santa Cruz, California.
