Researchers & Evaluators

Are you evaluating a program in family planning and reproductive health or conducting research to inform the design of a new program? Do you need resources for your literature review, study design, or for translating research into practice? K4Health can help.

The K4Health website provides a number of tools to help you find the latest research innovations in family planning/reproductive health and other health programs and to learn what approaches were used to answer similar research questions in other contexts.

Discover what we have to offer researchers and evaluators:

  • Investigate the full spectrum of resources on a health topic to answer specific research or evaluation questions. Search POPLINE, the largest database of population, family planning, and reproductive health literature, which includes citations with abstracts to more tha 350,000 scientific articles, reports, books, and unpublished reports.
  • Browse a well-defined set of resources on a particular health topic to assist you with your research and evaluation activities.  Explore our 50 Toolkits, or electronic libraries of expert-vetted resources, on a range of topics—from monitoring and evaluation and contraceptive methods to mHealth and HIV/AIDS. You can also use our software, the Toolkit Application, to develop your own electronic library of research and evaluation related resources and share your knowledge with others.
  • Find relevant photos to use in research and evaluation reports. Browse the Photoshare collection, which contains thousands of images showcasing international health programs in action, and request free images for non-profit educational use.
  • Exchange experiences, best practices, and lessons learned with other research and evaluation professionals. Participate in a Community of Practice or eForum.
